How does this camp work, exactly?

Center Stage Theatricals' Summer Musical Theatre Camp is an educationally based summer camp that teaches children, ages 6 and up, the many elements involved in putting together a professional musical theatre production. Students are placed into one of three groups by age.  All students that enroll are cast in the play.  Each day, the groups have dance class, music class, acting class, and are given the opportunity to work on props, costumes, and scenery with our staff of theatre and education experts.  In the 12 days of camp, we put the entire production together from auditions to opening night.  When you come to see the performance, you will see a full-scale musical; complete with lighting, sets, costumes, props, acting singing, and dance.  The camp focuses on building character, honing theatrical skills, enhancing self-esteem, and forming new friendships through acting, dance, music, stage-craft, and a shared love of the theatre. This is our 25th summer camp and The Lion King will be our 42nd production.
